EHSF: Understanding the environmental impact of our wood cladding products

In 2019, in line with the RE2020, we produced our EHSDSs, Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets, to formalise the environmental impact of our wood cladding as it is used in the construction of a building.

The construction sector in France is the 2nd largest emitter of greenhouse gases.  Given this situation, it is our duty at Sivalbp to promote low-carbon construction in order to limit the footprint of buildings as much as possible.

Sivalbp carries out its first Bilan Carbone® assessment

In 2021, we are continuing our commitment to a strong environmental and social approach.

In collaboration with the GoodPlanet Foundation, we have carried out our 1st Bilan Carbone® in order to obtain an overview of our climate responsibility linked to our activity and to draw up an action plan for the coming years to reduce our CO2 emissions.

By thinking globally about these issues, we are laying the foundations for future responses and actions to limit our impact on our environment.

Sivalbp commits to a global performance approach

Since 2020, at Sivalbp we have been committed to a global performance approach, in order to strengthen our efficiency in the human, organisational and technical fields.

Improve the skills of our employees

On the human front, we have set up a programme to develop the career plans of our operational teams by giving everyone the opportunity to develop in two areas: autonomy, responsibility and versatility.

Continuous improvement

From an organisational point of view, we have created and developed internal processes and procedures to optimise the work, training and monitoring of our teams.

Invest in our industrial facilities

From a technical point of view, we have been investing in our production tools for several years in order to improve our industrial performance and the working conditions of our teams.
