Our installation and maintenance tips for traditional painted spruce cladding, Colors Collection

  • Installation tips

    • Compliance: comply with DTU 41.2 guidelines for proper installation.
    • Installation: horizontal or vertical installation with double battens for vertical installation.
    • Fastening: use stainless steel twisted/ringed screws or nails for secure fastening.
    • Standards and safety: rain screen must be installed and minimum ground clearance of 20 cm.

  • Maintenance Tips

    • No specific maintenance required for the first 10 years.
    • To maintain the colour's brightness during the first 10 years, clean annually by lightly brushing the surface with a cleaning product (avoid high-pressure cleaners).

  • Use

    • Flexible exterior coating: Ideal for new builds, extensions, loft conversions and renovation projects.
    • The Grenat 407 and Anthracite 413 finishes are not recommended for areas exposed to severe weather conditions as described in FD P 20-651 (AFNOR document).
