Thermally-treated European Larch cladding is much more than a simple exterior cladding: it's a natural, durable and high-performance wood solution. Thanks to heat treatment, this noble wood offers enhanced weather resistance and excellent dimensional stability, even in the face of climatic variations. Its warm color, pronounced grain and rustic appearance enhance facades, whether for residential, commercial or architectural projects. Environmentally-friendly and chemical-free, thermally-heated Larch is fully in line with our eco-responsible approach.

Why choose thermo larch wood cladding for your facades ?

Heat-treated Larch is a larch that has been heat-treated to improve its technical properties and durability. At Sivalbp, we select larch from the European Alps, sourced from sustainably managed forests certified by the PEFC.

  • Enhanced durability : heat treatment makes Larch more resistant to weather and insects. It achieves a superior durability class.
  • Improved aesthetics : the heat-stabilization process modifies the color of the wood, giving it a golden-brown or chocolate-brown hue that develops a patina with time and UV exposure.
  • Dimensional stability : treated wood becomes less subject to dimensional variations due to humidity, making it less likely to warp or split.
  • Environmentally-friendly : the heat-treatment process requires no chemicals, making it environmentally friendly and harmless to health.
Easy to maintain : heat-treated larch requires less maintenance than untreated wood, but can continue to develop a natural patina over time.
