A wide range of colours to suit every project

Opting for wood cladding with a paint finish has the advantage of offering a wide range of colours. Whether you're looking for light, bright or contemporary grey tones, the full range of shades is available to suit all architectural projects. Want to give your facade a seaside, Canadian cabin or English cottage feel? With painted wood cladding, you can be sure of adding a unique character to your façade!

Paint is a film-forming finish for wood cladding. Unlike a non-film-forming finish such as a saturator, which impregnates the wood deep down, this paint finish is deposited on the surface of the wood. The opaque or semi-opaque finish will cover the appearance of the wood.

A paint finish for wood cladding lends itself to every kind of fantasy, giving façades a unique and original character.

How do I maintain painted wood cladding?

As with a saturated finish, painted wood cladding requires maintenance (at around 10 years and beyond) to restore the colour to its original brilliance.

Before applying any new coat of paint, the old coat should be sanded to remove any surface roughness. Once the sanding is complete , make sure that the dust is removed to ensure optimum application of the new paint.

Maintaining your paint finish helps to ensure that the original appearance of your painted wood cladding is preserved to the full.
